I laugh because everyone was embarassed about what they named their bears/dogs. Well, some of us. Other of us mocked the president. But it was funny mockage! I do Physics now, just wanted to let you all know so you could laugh in my general direction even though you don't know why. And Build-A-Bear should carry sombreros and leather pants. I had to settle. Pleated skirt + purse = kilt. Yes, I can help you too :)

d00d. 14 buses... As you may note, I watched part of the parade. Smiled at the six member pit with marching glocks/a xylo! Slept on the couch last night.

So, here's some stuff on pie:

Pumpkin pie is the most served pie on Thanksgving, incorporated into 18% of meals, compared with 11% for Apple and 1% for Sweet potato. Unfortunately, pie eating has been severely reduced. Only YOU can help reverse this trend ^^

Umyumyum.

More as the day progresses.

Erg. Calc. Erg.

Yeah, but:

Thurs: PUMPKIN PIE
Fri: Christine's B-day PAR-TAY
Sat: TSO. 'Nuff said.
Sun: Football geemu?

So, I think the doing of calc is perfectly fine. :P

Er... Thanksgiving. I am thankful for pumpkins and pies... No seriously, I'm thankful for other things. You know, family, electricity, heat/AC. But the thing that's new this year is I'm thankful I underestimate myself. That is always a nice surprise, when you are quite sure you are as weak as a Regalian Blood Worm, and you find out you're wrong :).

As for Andy's concept of being unthankful... Why on EARTH would you put emphasis on the negative. Especially coming from Mr. Optomism...

I have to edit my template... I found a spelling error :) Fitting, ne?

Oh! Finished NextGen, onto better things. Like 2 original series and then Deep Space Nine. I think I may just watch ALL of it... Yeah. Let me go do that in Netflix...

*schnuggles DS9*

I think I'll go back and pick it up. You know, I already have 23 I'm waiting to see...

Okay. Here's something I'm unthankful for: My dad's little things he's really stupid about. This one being the Netflix.

He says we can't have "all *your* DVDs" (as if he didn't like Start Trek), and he says it as if I would prevent him from doing something. My Turnaround is a day or two. His is anywhere from three days to a week. There was one they had for a MONTH. Now, it may just be me, but since I can watch then MUCH FASTER, why is it even an issue that we would have "all *your* DVDs"? Yeah, I'm done.

The FDTF makes me sad. No one the Dautless. No one on the Empie (as if. You can't replace people like that lightly. I thought maybe Ethan would want her, but as it seems right now, it just wouldn't be right. Not after you lose a captain of a year and a half and a crew of two years. You just don't.) T'Kath is gone. Matty Reinke? Kelly Corrigan is now Kelly Kincaid? Or no... I dunno. Confused. Re'anna and T'Lara demoted... I'm the only one still "mooned." So are Munro, Firedrake, Ken MacLee V, Doc Moore... It's just sad. My first RPG... I have 23 weeks laeft to change my mind :P. But the rest... Nope, they lo0se. 170 points. That's a nice round number for them to remember me by. The only thing is, I'm not leaving a legacy. Ethan served with me, but he's not even in active service. The only one is K'mtor... Either way, it's just sad. But I'm thankful for it, for helping me at a time of severe uncertainty in my life. Yeah, eighth grade... Boy, am I glad THAT'S over. Of course, now I'm into junior year with all of ITS complications... But at least I go in with the knowledge from eighth grade. *weak smile* At least then I wasn't ready to cry every two seconds... Ra ra ra.. *hates weak self*

Anyway...

Me: Jeff, if you see the vibaphone, cover it.
Jeff: ...
Me: But then, you're not much taller than me, so...
Jeff: Where is it?
Me: The band room. But I'm not tall enough.
Jeff: Why didn't you cover it?
Me: I'm not tall enough!

Yeah, I was trying, but I'm not tall enough. I gave up when I could not longer inch forward on my stomach...

CHILDREN OF WAR!!! UPDATED!!! Now, a SMO would make me keel over and die from surprise... Nope. Well, one is enough. Thanks, giving!

Curses. Off to find ink... Ink ink ink... *does happy ink dance*

Yeah, I'm done. Jaa. Ink ink ink.

What's YOUR Writing Style?
brought to you by Quizilla

I read Christine's Blog. I also read Andy's blog. (Well, I read all the blogs, but...) Anyway, I find it interesting the contrast. I personally have a different outlook that either of them, but I'm not going to say anything about it tonight. Basically because that would kinda be going against my outlook...

Went to a writing workshop. It was fun. Told the trombone story.

I was thinking the other day about how it is that I always find myself being an outsider. Especially since music is so big in our lives, I find my postion hard. I mean, you have a lot of good times with your section. A lot of stuff can happen, and you can feel closer to them than anyone else in the band. Yet, I'm never able to make that connection. (Just for the sake of arguement, I'm going to consider Christine a woodwind because first and foremost, she is. She's still a percussionist, but nothing can hange her oboe-ness.) I find myself constantly out of the loop because something funny happened at breakdown, or during sectionals. While I love my pit, I don't really hang out with any of them (with the exception of Christine, and even that is sometimes a strained reltionship). And even if I *do* get caught up, no one has the percussionist outlook. I mean, I hit things. I *enjoy* hitting things. I am *good* at hitting things. (But not hitting ON things, which is another story for another time.) There's a fundamental difference in thought there, with everyone else playing something which doesn't give you a full-blown workout. I mean, when I'm angry, I don't need a pillow, I've got a DRUM! Anyway, I wonder if I'm being annoying by trying to fit where I don't. My "rep" is definitly different from who I actually am, because of this conflict in interest. I don't pretend to know what playing a wind instrument is like, at least. I can only imagine it's easier due to the fact that you can't miss ^^. Of course, they'd like to say that percussion is easier. Well, that's a lie. Actually, it depends... You want to play or you want to play well? Anyway, I think a part of me wishes I had chosen to play low brass. At least, it did until I killed it with stabbity death. *grin* No, I'm kidding. But overall, I think that nothing can beat playing percussion. Honestly and fully. Because you know when smacked that thing and your arms feel like they're going to fall off and you just want to lay down and go to sleep because you are so tired and you've only played two lines, that's when you've put your heart into it. Well, if you're a novice, you've probably only put half your heart into it and you don't have the stamina to put any more in. You can't replicate that feeling with a wind instrument. I think you can get close with marching band, but you just *can't* know until you've played a drum. And I feel sorry for you all because you don't. :P Anyway, the point of this story is that percussion rocks and that even though I feel like an outsider, it's worth it. I think.

Hey, I think I can turn that into a college essay... Score.

Figured out what I'm doing with Vigilance. At least, for now. Updating that next, Because I heard a song last night I want to use.

I watched "All Good Things..." This means the next DVD will be TOS. Score.

I have to write a post. I think I'll get Katana to help me.

I also have to read Huck Finn, except there's nothing due and I never participate in discussions anyway... I also am hoping she tries to find a motive/moral/plot because then she will be prosecuted/banished/shot.

rag time is so awesome! They're a capella, but they sound like they have instruments due to their beat box. And they have shoes to make them all look the same height!

Lalala... Cleaning boards. I want to create a Starfleet edition of Life and play it. Wouldn't that be awesome? Let me see if it exists... I don't think so...

Yay! Keei has a plot!

In my stupid and depressed state, and because I found myself having one of those last night, I re-read the "outburst" on Erin's blog. And I find the answers to her questions scathing, yet VERY true.

Here's the one that strikes me the most:

"You all are getting a chance to be teenagers and experience adolescence – why won’t you let me?"

Because, my dear, as you have just found out, it sucks (see insight on my usage of profanity and "bad words" below). This is it. This is adolesecence. Crazy ups and downs. Passion. Betrayal. That's why our lives seem like soap operas. Because they are. Maybe you don't WANT adolescence. I mean, I would sure be a lot better off without it right now.

Insight on Profanity:

Profanity is something that is supposed to shock your listeners/readers. However, nowadays it is overused, and many people are immune to even the worst of words. I'm not some goody-goody who won't say a "bad word." But I am someone who is trying to keep that shock value around. Because colorful metaphors aren't colorful if you use them all the time.

Note: I'm stealing from Beth. You got a problem? I shoot you. Now is NOT the time.

I did something I shouldn't have, and now I feel worse.

Why is it that the one thing I want most to forget is the one thing that won't leave me alone?

Read my lips:

I have nothing left to give.

Nothing. Nada. Ziltch. Ix-nay on the uff-stay to ive-gay.

And yet, I find it being constantly thrown in my face.

I'm sorry if I'm confused. I'm sorry if I'm not god enough. I'm sorry if I'm just one screwed-up little onna who only wants to not be sad. If you notice, I didn't say "be happy." I said "not be sad." I don't think I'm asking a lot.

Maybe I should leave. Just go back to living by myself, on my own, like the first twelve years of my life. Maybe I was wrong to think that I could ever even kind of fit in. Because being lonely without problems hurts a lot less than this.

Of course, then I would feel bad about the people who I would be inadvertently hurting just because I'm weak. Of course, that assumes anyone cares. Which I can't say for certain anyone does. And before I get comments about "how could you say that?", I'm only telling you the truth. I hate myself. Why should I believe anyone wouldn't hate me too?

People have made me soft. Nowadays my biggest fear is waking up and being all alone again. And since I have the extrodinary talent of feeling alone in a crowd, it's not that unfounded.

I'll decide what needs to be done later. Right now I need some sleep. Because I still am incapable of crying. Feh.

I feel horrible. Calculator missing. Problems comlicating themselves. Calculus death. And, oh yeah, my stupid weak self refuses to shut up. And I feel fat because I ate too many sweet things. I hate my weakness...

Band Banquet. Cool beans. Played cards for a while. Signed drum heads. Got letter, framed design, pit certificate, and most awesome section (the pit). Hugged Amanda and Duty :P.

Eh. I hate everything. I just want to go stand in the corner, wake up, and find it all fixed. But life is never that easy. And if I wasn't so weak and could come up with some courage... Nah. I'm not going there. But I am going to say that I'm not exactly in the best state, so don't expect much. You won't get it.

I never heard back about that depression screening thing. I guess I was agonizing for nothing. Exactly what I need. More agony for no reason.

Stephen told me I was the strongest person he knew or something to that effect and I told him he was wrong. I think that maybe he wasn't wrong per se, but that maybe I just need to stop tormenting myself. Because my burden is wearing me down, and I can't deal with it and all this other stuff. *steals from Erin who stole from Ms. Ulrey* "Junior year is crashing into a brick wall at 90 mph." Which reminds me of a physics problem. If I could cry I would. But I can't.

Let's just hope things work out.

Slept in your bed: only me (and I forsee it staying that way)
Saw you cry: my parents & brother. Although the last person who virtually saw me cry was Tom/Katana (I think)
Made you cry: Three guesses. Although since its three people, that may be hard...
Spent the night at your house: Katana
You shared a drink with: Depends on how you mean that. I have neve "had a drink" with someone. If you mean drinking out of the same cup... Most likely kaitoued some of Bug's soda.
You went to the movies with: Katana
You went to the mall with: Kaasan
Yelled at you: Kaasan? Katana? Both.
Sent you an e-mail: Ghost's updates and Classmates. Why can't I ever get any substance?
Said they were going to kill you: er- I'm usually the one doing the killing. Katana? She seems violent enough. Or maybe my mom. They show up a lot...

HAVE YOU EVER..

Finding Japanese Slang dictionary. Ahou just isn't good enough. But it'll do for now.

YAWA sounds like YAH WAH. Informal word for something that is "weak" or "whimpy" or "flimsy". It is not commonly written this way in many dictionaries, it is short for YAWARAKA

I think we have a winner. But I shall continue just in case...

Nah. I'm too lazy. I'll do it later...

Jaa.

One final note before I go to sleep:

Amanda Davis will be moving to Russia. Why?

In Moscow they are trying to ban PDAs. There will be a fine, and, if not paid on the spot, police will have the right to lock you up in jail. I am now resisting any other comments because I don't think they would be well recieved.

My inner child is ten years old!

The adult world is pretty irrelevant to me. Whether
I'm off on my bicycle (or pony) exploring, lost

friend, I live in a world apart, one full of
adventure and wonder and other stuff adults
don't understand.

You care so much yet you hide it inside and cover
it with a plaster face painted on by

Is it my fault I don't want to deal with it anymore?

Anyway...

I found out that Pribble and I were in the same band in 5th grade. In the picture there is a trumpet player between him and me. Yet I never met him... This is v. strange.

*reads Texas Past to Present*

er-- I can't think of amusing stuff that happened. Senior Show last night. Rookies ga zenzen nai.

Gilene's mom is dying. It provides an occasion for reflection.

Trying to do something for eclipse...

Gave Nick a lesson. Got paid. Awesome.

And even though our boys are ick
We always say "I LOVE MUSIC!"

Jeff is really, really 1337
And they march on the right feet

And Jeremy's, from the Competition:

Jeremy's hat is full of bread
It is sitting on his head
He is also wearing a mask
Why's he doing it? You can ask

Some other ones to remember:

TJMCQMA
What's that 'a' for, anyway?
We don't know, and we don't care
When you need us, we'll be there

I am an Irish leprachaun
Not the kind on your front lawn
I live on a potato farm
Always after me lucky charms!

I play tuba, yes I do
They call me the tuba jew

So, I'm dressed like Yeff. Watched Star Trek, so that's why I wasn't on. Whee. No school! I get to go to GMU in... eight minutes? Must type faster.

Basically the cool thing about being Yeff is "my" autobiography that I made in five mutues five minutes ago. It's good to be creative like that. It's actually my copy of The Eagle and the Raven, but since I have to read it anyway...

Keith who plays Tuba is my hero because thanks to him I got to go to practice last night. Also, he's giving me a ride to the game tonight. SANKYUU KEITH!

Right. Going now. Jaa.

You are Form 0, Phoenix: The Eternal.

"And The Phoenix's cycle had reached
zenith, so he consumed himself in fire. He
emerged from his own ashes, to be forever
immortal."

Some examples of the Phoenix Form are Quetzalcoatl
(Aztec), Shiva (Indian), and Ra-Atum
(Egyptian).
The Phoenix is associated with the concept of life,
the number 0, and the element of fire.
His sign is the eclipsed sun.

As a member of Form 0, you are a determined
individual. You tend to keep your sense of
optomism, even through tough times and have a
positive outlook on most situations. You have
a way of looking at going through life as a
journey that you can constantly learn from.
Phoenixes are the best friends to have because
they cheer people up easily.

...Black Hawk...

Comp. Best Guard. I think Salem is in the same boat as Krystle and Christine's hair, though...

Er... Had the best time on the bus. Tom broke our truce, so I had to attack.

*After poking for a while*
Tom: I'm going to retaliate, and then you'll be sorry.
Me: Prove it.
Tom: You asked for it.
Me: *holds both his hands in my one and pokes without mercy*
Tom: Ah! I surrender again.
Me: No, my dear. YOU asked for it. : 3

Of course, the poking war led to a hard-to-explain position. But that's okay!

Amanda and Stephen Hilber made a bet about which couple will break up first. But two aren't officially couples... I happen to know Amanda's bet, but I'm not telling. I don't know if I agree. Of course, you never know... Anyway, in retaliation:

Amanda and Stephen: *plays some stupid trombone song*
Me: Aw, they're playing a song together. Isn't that cute?
Everyone: *catches on* oohlala!
Amanda: *finishes song* *blasts Trombone in my ear* *starts running into me* I HATE YOU!
Me: And I think the most telling thing here is that Stephen hasn't said anything.
Stephen: *is confused*

...I am SO evil...

So now, work.

Jaa.
